Well another Beautiful Monday Morning has rolled around once again here at the farmhouse. I hope you all had a beautiful weekend ..
I spent 12 hours on Saturday taking a Photography Class. Learning how to get out of "Auto" mode and into manual mode. I had a wonderful day .. Learned so much and can't wait to start applying all I have learned to my photos .. Well needless to say that long of a day and all that learning really tuckered me out so Yesterday I just spent the day resting and playing with Flossie.
Looks like all of you in the South and East are in for quite storm ... well while you are whittling away your hours waiting for the storm to pass this is the perfect time to jump right in and get some cute Valentine projects made.
Well we are on the countdown to another fun Holiday ... "Valentines"... I remember when I was a little girl I loved going to the store with my mom and picking out a pack of valentines. In my era they came wrapped in a little thin cardboard box wrapped in a decorative cellophane outer. I still actually have many that were given to me. In one class my teacher had us make large heart pockets out of construction paper and pasted them together so we had a place to keep all the valentines we were given in exchange in class .. I still have that heart and all the valentines in it .. Abbey was always such a great mom and allowed me to keep many of the things I made in school. Today they are all tucked away in a trunk .. beautiful memories that I love to cherish.
So today here are 4 more Valentines that I found in our collection that I thought were just charming .. and I think these would be so great mixed with the other 4 I offered last week HERE ... for making valentine banners .. Print and cut them out and punch holes in each side and string them with some pretty ribbon or bakers twine .. Or how about some simple placemats .. Print them on cardstock cut them out .. and then paste them into the center of a piece of construction paper or one of those paper doily placemats you can pick up at Wal-Mart etc. There are so many ways to decorate with Vintage Valentines just let your imagination Soar ...
