Why do I love Spring....Spring is like being able to breath again..I am in love with flowers and love to garden...I love seeing the bulbs sprout with the tender shoots of tulips and daffodils and the heady fragrance of the hyacinth. Birds chirping, the sound of lawn mowers cutting grass, new blooms popping up through the soil,the fact that it stays lighter out a bit later and lastly being able to open up the windows and let the fresh air in!

What a lovely blog you have. Congratulations on 100 followers. I adore spring. Especially since we will be going into daylight savings time and it will be light when I get home. I will be able to sit outside on my garden swing and play ball with my 6 dogs. I will be able to spend the evening outside and enjoy the horses that ride by on the horsetrail. ReplyDeleteI am so sorry, but I forgot to tell what I love about Spring! I love seeing the sweet Carolina Wrens building their nests. Right now they have made one in the pocket of my husband's jacket in his shop! I love to see the Hyacinths and Tulips coming up out of the earth and blooming. I love to fill my garden with flowers and see everything thrive in the fresh Spring air. I love to see my sweet doggies play out of doors and sit in the sunniest spot in the yard. I love to have the windows open and to feel the nice breeze freshening my cottage after being closed up all winter. There are so many things I love about Spring I could go on and on! :)

The days are temperant with low humidity (a good thing here in the south), the grass is an awesome green color, everything is blooming or coming up brand new, and the birds are busy chirping. Which reminds me, I found a bird feeder and now need birdseed and also need to redo my flower bed in front of my studio (or should I say make a flower bed!).

I long to get dirt under my fingernails! I dream of lilacs! Can't wait for playing baseball with my grandson! And I am even ready for all the lawn mowing, watering, and weeding that summer brings!

I love to go outside on our small farm (it has been ours since October) and watch the birds and listen to their songs, to feel the warm sun as I plan where and what to plant in our garden. Why do I love Spring....In it to year the winter in Russia was snow and frosty. Therefore for many Russians the spring is the beginnings of a new life when the nature comes to life after hibernation. I love when in air the smell of dismissed foliage, warmly the sun and running streamlets is felt. Thank you for the opportunity to win!

ReplyDeleteWhy I love spring ... oh, so many reasons! Here are a couple of my tops - the smells ... it's so wonderful to be able to opent the windows and get some fresh air in the house. I love to strip all the beds and wash all the lines so everything has that fresh, clean, springy smell!
I love all the colors - trees blooming, bulbs popping up from the ground, grass coming back to live - it's just breathtaking!
