Just wanted to let you all know we just added a

 

Fresh Picked Batch of Pumpkins to the shop

 

These are all made from Vintage Linens and Lace ...

 

Once again each one is a one of a kind

 

 

 

From Xtra Large Pumpkins that are 39 inches around and 25 inches tall ..

To... our Small and Baby pumpkins ....

 

 



Beautiful Hand Embroidered Vintage linen... and checkout the cane top on the far right one .. love how it came out and so unique too ! 

And ... Charming hand-dyed lace in fashionable fall colors ...

 

 

The X-large pumpkins make stunning centerpieces for dining tables perfect for Thanksgiving .. they look stunning on entry tables, Oversized coffee tables , or even on the Hearth ..

 

Our Smaller pumpkins look charming tucked in a fall display, a country cupboard or a basket filled with fall leaves ..

 

Each one is made by hand here at the farmhouse by

Abbey and Myself .. these are a true work of the heart .. and we are only able to produce so many per year ..

 

They are wonderfully filled with sawdust .. so unlike polyfill they won't lose their shape or end up with an odd shape after being packed away .... You just give em' a hug and a squeeze if they need plumping ..  Plus they just feel wonderful with our special sawdust filling .. !

We just added Many new Authentic Milk Bottle Cap Magnets. These are the Wax Caps from the 30's - 40's .. so they are an actual cap .. not a flat little round of cardboard more commonly seen ...

 

These have strong heavy weight magnets on the backs perfect for the Icebox .. or your favorite metal memo board, chicken Feeder, corrugated metal etc .. Just add your artwork, notes, letters, etc .. and you've got a whole lot of Farmhouse Charm .. over 20 different caps to choose from and more to come.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This Charming Wire Carrier and 8 ~ 1/2 Pint Milk Bottles dressed in White .. is perfectly farmhouse Charming .. awaiting Fresh Flower or Farm Fresh Milk,....

If you are looking for something that's a one of a kind .. to add your Home Sweet Farmhouse Home...  every now and again Abbey and I steal a day to work on One of a Kind Pieces when we can .. we stole one such day a few weeks back and each designed a  "Romantic Farmhouse Runner" .. Each made of Vintage Linens, Lace, Lace Trims, Doilies, and MOP buttons ..

 

These Runners are a true work of our hearts and hands as these took many hours and much thought went into placing each piece just so ..   These are simply lovely and would look charming be they displayed on a Kitchen Table,  Coffee Table, Vintage Trunk .. Or simply Laid across the foot of the bed or resting upon the pillows ...

 

 

 

Our "Fly Away Home" Runner In it's luscious Whites and Creams is embellished with a  Lovely crochet lace butterfly, Charming Sheer Ruffled Flowers and Vintage Doilies, MOP buttons and Rhinestones, with a Double Ruffle at each end of natural muslin and vintage Lace.

This Runner .. in it's Lovely Whites and Creams .. is our "Faith Runner" .. This Runner has the words : Love Hope Faith and Joy .. Appliqued in lace throughout the runner .. Along with a Sweet Cross made from antique lace trim and dotted throughout are MOP Buttons. This one also has a double ruffle at each end of natural Muslin and Vintage Lace.

It's that time of year when the weather is beautiful ..the sun is out ..and the feeling and smell of crisp, sun bleached sheets are ready to dress your bed ..It's the time to hang all your beautiful whites ..and let the sun use it's natural whitening power. It's that time to pull up your old motel, or addirondack chair and watch the linens and clothes sway in the spring breeze ..

So this last week I was inspired to create more of our wonderful Vintage and Romantic Style Clothespin Bags ..since those I had available were chosen to make their way to some other Home Sweet Homes ..
