Just listed "Noel" a vintage snowman ...

O.k. I finally got this guy listed today over at my WSOAPP shoppe

Meet ... "Noel" a Vintage Snowman

He's a wonderful One of a Kind and a true work of my heart. A perfect little Christmas Sweetheart ..!!!

Noel is headed to his new Home Sweet Home ...Stay tuned ...I have a few more coming up this week.

I'm finally Back

Hi there all ...well I'm finally back to blogging !!!

I have been gone away from home for a month now off looking for a new place to call home. It was a long and arduous journey and we were able to eliminate some places on our list and were able to consider some others. We have one place in mind right now and actually wish we were headed there right away ..but Moving does take time and there is alot to be accomplished here before going.

I'm glad to be back as far as being able to work and create ....I didn't take anything to work on with me and my hands felt so very empty the entire time. I learned a big lesson there and will not go on any long journey again without something to keep my hands busy.

Well before we left I was already in Christmas Mode ...while many of you were still in Halloween Mode ..Christmas came early in my head this year ...so I started making some wonderful Christmas Pieces.

Many of you may have visited and viewed our paper mache candy canes we have made ..if you haven't be sure to stop in and visit our Etsy store by cliking on the link to it in the left column.

Below is one of my Snowmen I created ..He is made from Ornsburg..an Antique Tablecloth remnant... Vintage Rhinestone Buttons ..and I handsculpted and handpainted his head from Paper Clay....along with his candy canes. He stands on a Vintage heart shaped tart mold which I inverted ...and he is wonderfully dusted with ice crystal glitter all lover and is topped off with a handmade top hat. He stands 9 inches tall x 4 inches wide ..and is of course a one of a kind with his vintage elements.

If you are interested in purchasing him ..please contact me at sweetmagnolias at luckymail dot com ... or visit my WSOAPP shoppe where I will be listing him in the next hour along with additional pictures and close-ups.

It's so good to be back to work and can't wait to here from all my prim and shabby friends.

To those of you who visited while I was gone ..I'll be stopping by your blog soon ..as I catch up on all the things I got behind on while gone. Thank you for your lovely comments ..each and every one were so appreciated and I love meeting new friends and visiting new blogs ..so I'm looking forward to coming for a visit !!!

White White and more White ....

I've been working on more candy canes .....

My First set of Winter White Canes Sold on Etsy this week and headed for far away lands ..(Italy) to be exact. Of course that prompted me to finish up the last of what I had started ..so today I finally finished 3 more sets of our handmade Paper Mache candy canes.

I just finished listing the 3 sets below over in our Sweet Magnolias Farm ETSY store ..

I'm not one for making the same thing over and over again as I'm sure many of you have noticed ..I tend to stick with custom One of a Kind Items .. However I really enjoy making these candy canes ..even though they are time consuming ..I love how they turn out.

The pictures came out Great ..but there really is nothing like seeing these in person...They sparkle beautifully ..and well you can really see that they are sculpted and 3 dimensional. I wish we had touch a vision or something ..LOL !!!

I just recently decided to take part in White Wednesday hosted by ... Kathleen at Faded Charm

So be sure to stop back in Wednesday to see the wonderful whites ..I have to share with you ..

Have a Beautiful Tomorrow ..and remember God Loves You !!!

Blessings ..Sara
