Hey Y'all .. well I can't believe it ..
Yes here we are on the brink of a New Year ..it's just a matter of hours now before the hands on the clock wind closer to the stroke of Midnight and a whole new year is before us.
Is it just me or as you grow older do the years just seem to pass quicker ? I remember when I was a kid and in my youth I never noticed time as much as I do now .. I suppose the older we get the more we realize time is much shorter than we imagined in our youth.
I'm looking forward to a New Year .. I have a lot of hopes and dreams and goals for this coming year .. most of all I just hope to grow in the Love and Wisdom of the Lord as I know that's truly the most important thing in my life ..and then all the rest will happen as He see's fit ..as long as I'm a willing vessel along the journey, and I am..
I pray for all of you that your New Year is filled with the Beauty of the Lord and that your lives are ever so blessed and filled with joy and goodness !

I thought I would share a little journey I took in early December with you all.. I would have loved to shared it sooner but alas time doesn't always seem to be on my side..
I've taken the last 10 days off from work and have just rested .. sitting in my easy chair watching old movies and enjoying the quiet of home and being with my family and course my sweet furry best friend Flossie.
It's time to head back to work tomorrow .. part of me is looking forward to it and well the other part doesn't feel quite through with relaxing in my easy chair and doing absolutely nothing ..but that part of me is going to have to put on her Big Girl Panties and get with it ... LOL !
Anyhoo .. in early December I was hired by Christie Repasy and Rita Reade who host "The Vintage Marketplace at the "oaks" to come and photograph the event. I was thrilled yet quite nervous to do so ! It was my first time ever photographing an event and the truth is I'm just a beginner when it comes to photography .. but I mustered up the courage and did my very best .. I'm happy to say they were happy and I get to photograph their next event in March and I hope to do an even better job as I learned a lot about what I wished I would have photographed and didn't and I have enrolled in a photography class to learn more about my camera and how to take better pictures.. So I'm looking forward to March with excitement ...
I thought I would share some of my favorite photos from the December Event .. with you all ..
So sit back and have fun and enjoy all the beautiful goodness !
